Welcome to the Workers' Compensation page for the LAUSD Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP). As part of the District's OCIP, which covers construction insurance costs for bond-funded (BB, Q, R, K & Y) construction projects and modernization projects, strict safety and reporting protocols apply to all participating contractors.
Mandatory Injury Reporting
All contractors enrolled in the LAUSD Workers’ Compensation OCIP must promptly report every work-related injury, illness, or occupational exposure to the Third-Party Administrator (TPA). This requirement applies regardless of severity or whether the worker requests medical treatment.
