WELCOME

Absence Management is committed to providing comprehensive advisement and support to District staff to ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations governing protected leaves and the Donations for Catastrophic Illness (DCI) Program.

Protected leaves administered by Absence Management include the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), Pregnancy Disability Leave (PDL), Paid Parental Leave (PPL), Bereavement Leave, Reproductive Loss Leave, Protected Personal Necessity Leave, Kin Care Leave, and Military Disability Leave.

In addition to managing protected leaves and the DCI Program, Absence Management provides advisement and support for the District’s Staff Attendance Program, ensuring consistent application of policies that promotes excellence  attendance practices across the District.
